Strategy and Business Development, XXD, is an executive management resource with the objective to support Scania 's CEO, the Scania Executive Board and the Corporate Unit managers in strategic management. The overall responsibilities include facilitating Scania's long term strategic journey and managing cross functional and strategic projects within Scania and TRATON, ranging from the commercial to the industrial side. The team supports in strategy formulation, execution and communication.
The function is a part of Corporate Management & Venture Business (Department X). You will in your position report to Gustaf Sundell, Head of Strategy and Business Development (XX).
Job description
We are now looking for a Strategic Project Manager that would like to contribute to the success and profitability of Scania. In the position you will work as an internal management consultant with assignments in different parts of the Scania organization to develop and improve its performance. You will lead cross functional resources around a specific challenge and recommend how to solve, improve and execute. You will work in close cooperation with different management teams all over Scania, including the Executive Board.
You will gain an overall understanding of Scania and how the company is managed at different levels and a broad understanding of Scania 's different units, their challenges and their way of working. You will develop a wide network stretching across the entire company and you will get a good understanding on how to analyse, summarise and communicate different business concepts.
You will work closely together with the other strategic project managers at XXD and share experiences and best practice with your colleagues.
Your profile
We build our team bringing in a range of competences enabling strong support for our stakeholders and now we need a finance star to complement the team.
We expect you to have several years of experience from Scania and / or TRATON and experience within finance and business control. You have one or several relevant academic degrees and a strong passion for the Scania business, strategy development and cross functional collaboration.
We think that you have great skills in leading teams, solving complex problems with a holistic approach and communicating difficult concepts in a smart way. We also believe that you have a great talent for understanding the bigger picture while at the same time understanding the importance of the details.
