Business Area Cloud Software & Services (BCSS) is created to capitalize on the opportunity of the convergence of cloud and services. As our customers deploy 5G, we aim to accelerate the optimization and automation of increasingly complex networks by transforming to cloud-native software and services. This, in turn, will enable them to provide more competitive services faster. In this new setup, Solution Area Core Networks is created to provide a market-leading Core Network portfolio with a superior customer experience, generating healthy business for Ericsson.
We are now looking for a strong and passionate Strategic Product Manager for our end-to-end Licensing Solution as part the Common Investments team in Solution Line Cloud & Common. The Common Investment team is responsible for securing products and components that can be re-used across Ericsson, such as the Application Development Platform (ADP) and Licensing. You will be responsible for managing a competitive Licensing and Data Collection Solution across Ericsson solutions, covering portfolio strategies & life cycle management, as well as contributing in establishing a strong strategy for the solution.

What you will do
Licensing and data collection strategy
Business Plan and Financial Plan
Market analysis as a basis for strategy development
Set and follow-up Objectives & Key Results.
Interact with key customers to set strategic direction
Actively interact and collaborate with Market Areas to secure long-term competitive solution
Budget responsibility for R&D
Requirement handling within the solution: Customer and market interaction to define business priorities and interact with internal stakeholders to manage prioritized requirement backlog
Prepare and run PRM, PRT, and Business decisions within the solution responsibility
Work closely with the R&D team in Italy, as well as with the Commercial Management and SW supply organizations.
The expectation of the role is to work proactively and in an inclusive way with all stakeholders to ensure all input is considered and create alignment for and execution of one common Licensing Solution for the whole of Ericsson.
You will bring
Education: Master of Science, MBA degree or equivalent
5-10 years experience in Telecom and IT in Business Area, Market Area or R&D
Knowledge of business and product management
Strong Leadership skills
You will need to have excellent presentation and communication skills
Analytical abilities
Formulating strategies and concepts
Customer value and commercial thinking
Capability to drive and inspire change
High agility, ability to work in a dynamic environment
