Our Exciting Opportunity
The telecom network platform is among the fastest-growing, most critical and widespread assets in the world today. With 5G it becomes the backbone and the innovation platform for sophisticated consumer applications, public safety as well as new industries going through digitalization.
Our team of Strategic Product Managers defines solutions for the network out of various mobile data applications. We are passionate about technology when it solves humans or business needs.
We seek a new team member with proficiencies from hyperscale cloud! Can you lead through others and come to agreement with global cloud providers on fit-for-purpose technology choices?
You will:
* establish technology- and business strategies for solutions on Hyperscale-, OpenStack- VMware and other cloud environments
* drive customer interactions from executive level to engineering, finding new opportunities for our offerings and improving our sales
* collaborate with and influence external parties in the telecom, cloud and IT ecosystem as well as across Ericsson around the world
* define requirements, govern assignments and take timely decisions while empowering the hardworking development teams to succeed
* build assets for sales readiness, competence readiness all the way to phaseout of products
* report to the Head of Solutions Solution Line Packet Core.
To be successful in the role you have:
* Education: Master of Science or equivalent
* Minimum 5-7 years of previous experience
* Hyperscale cloud experience, both from hybrid cloud infrastructure and application perspectives as architect or equivalent.
* Detailed IP networking skills for real-time demanding applications and distributed systems
* Excellent communicating skills with business and technical audiences
* Trait of character making people following your strategic directions based on your energy, integrity, curiosity, genuine and encouraging personality
* Telecom industry understanding and 5G Core system knowledge, with meriting experience of mobile data core network applications
* Solid knowledge of cloud stacks such as VMware and OpenStack distributions, cloud security, various cloud patterns and technologies
* Validated product management skills including business management
* A meriting architect certification for AWS, Azure, Google cloud
