hela Sverige Job Summary: Within BNEW/Product Area Networks, the Broadband and IoT section is responsible for the 4G LTE and 5G NR functional areas including Massive MIMO, Cellular IoT, Peak Rate Evolution, Capacity, Configurations, Physical layer, Co-ordination features and Performance. We drive the technology evolution and long-term strategy for these areas in both 4G and 5G RAN as well as work with architecture issues such as Lower Layer Split and baseband software architecture solutions.We are looking for a Strategic Product Manager to take overall responsibility for both the 4x4 and 8x8 radio software features and baseband co-ordination features such as Elastic RAN and Co-ordination Multipoint. The role will involve developing a feature roadmap and longterm technology evolution plan for both 4G and 5G.Based on discussions with customers, market units, sales, R&D, S&T and other strategic product managers, you define and communicate the future for our software product in your responsible area.A successful candidate should have a broad technical understanding of the Radio Access Network combined with a solid insight into the RAN market.The role also includes more operative tasks, such as customer meetings and co-ordination with the development units to bring features from concept through to market deployment.
