About Strategic Development
Strategic Development drives the corporate strategy development and capital allocation. With the strategy as base, we facilitate development of asset strategies and new business models in close collaboration with the Business Areas, that make the strategy real. R&D is a key enabler in our work with business development. Furthermore, we drive the sustainability and environment management and are responsible for ensuring that Vattenfall is constantly improving in these areas - and that sustainability is an integrated part of our corporate strategy.

Vattenfall has made a strong commitment and in order to deliver on our bold ambitions we are now looking to strengthen our corporate environmental team within Vattenfall's strategic function. We are an open and engaged group working in an exciting international environment.
We are looking for a passionate Strategic environmental advisor who will be a part of driving multi-stakeholder projects within the environmental area. One of your first assignments is to drive the strategic work towards a circular business and also align targets and actions with our climate commitments.

Strategic environmental advisor we expect that you:
As strategic environmental advisor you will be developing effective strategies to secure we achieve our long term ambitions. This work will be managed in close collaboration with the rest of Vattenfall's organisation and with an eye for requirements from our key stakeholders. Our decisions are often based on business cases or description of business opportunities.
Therefore we expect that you are able to motivate others to work towards a common goal and you have developed stakeholder management that enables you to anchor your ideas effectively. You also have strong verbal and written communication skills and an outgoing personality that is aligned with our principles: Active, Open, Positive and Safety. You have a true passion for environmental and sustainability topics and understand their impacts, risks and opportunities also from a business perspective. You are motivated by challenges and work solution oriented. Your personality will most likely be described as self-motivated, result-driven, structured and you have the ability to prioritize and plan realistically.
Qualifications
We are looking for you with:
Relevant bachelor or master degree (e.g. Environmental, Natural Science or Engineering Discipline) or similar.
Experience in a similar position in an international environment, preferable in consultancy companies or within corporate strategy/sustainability/environment.
Experience in project management, problem solving and agile ways of working.
A proven track record to meet deliverables and timelines within cross functional teams that not report directly to you.
Fluent oral and written English.
Meritorious
Experience within circular economy.
Experience from strategic advisory work e.g. from management consulting.
Experience from driving change in complex environments.
Extensive Power Point skills and convincing storyteller.
Good command in Swedish.
