Strategic Development Director, Logistics
Job description
Stora Enso Sourcing and Logistics Development is looking for a visible and business driven person as Strategic Development Director, Logistics. In your role you will be accountable for developing, driving and communicating our logistics development strategy, while building a strategy cadence and discipline in S&L organization to deliver value and enable growth within Stora Enso. You will bring digital experiences to life and optimize a reliable and efficient end to end and logistics processes.
You will report directly to SVP Sourcing & Logistics Development
As a leader on our Logistics development team, you will be responsible for strategic development, cadence and communication to inform our strategic priorities in Sourcing and Logistics, in Sourcing & Logistics Development team and in Logistics Management team.
Key tasks
* Develop strategic and tactical logistics plans and integrated roadmaps with divisions and logistics teams to increase transparency
* Develop strategy cadence, processes and execute strategy development cycles
* Develop end to end order fulfillment and logistics process improvement and ensure effectiveness and efficiency of processes together with divisions
* Drive continuous improvement of the processes, development of IT system integration, new logistics solutions and development of delivery performance measurement, scale up track and trace measurement and drive leadtime development in Stora Enso.
* Be responsible for the Logistics process including quality assurance, anchoring it inside logistics function as well as securing connections to related processes and stakeholders in divisions
* Identify and address business needs, bring industry trends, best practices and processes
* Connect and integrate with Divisions, IT and Logistics teams
* Manage a global team of 4-8 people directly and several people indirectly global
Qualifications
* University degree in an area directly supporting the main responsibilities
* Strong strategic and operational orientation and acumen, 7-10 years +
* Significant leadership experience in managing a global team
* Demonstrated experience bringing large scale change opportunities to life through storytelling, fact-based orientation, and using analytics to inform complex decision making
* Deep supply chain and logistics operational and strategy expertise and S&OP knowledge in manufacturing industry
* Demonstrated project and program management experience in a high complexity matrixed organizations
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English (plus for Swedish/Finnish)

* Demonstrated problem solving, negotiation and facilitation skills
* Ability to act as a change agent
* Collaborative, engaging and highly energetic
* Strong understanding of network strategy tools, methods and modelling
* A willingness to partner extensively across all divisions in Stora Enso to influence, drive and deliver change
Location: Stockholm, Gothenburg or Helsinki
The position requires travelling.
