Would you like to make an impact? We are now looking for a Strategic Category Manager to play a critical role in the procurement team. As a Strategic Category Manager Sourcing you work with key suppliers in partnership relations to secure high performance in supply and quality of raw materials and products. You plan and implement direct purchasing activities in order to maximize the purchasing power for the company.
This is a full-time permanent position at Mölnlycke Health Care based in Göteborg. Interviews are held on an on-going basis so please send your CV and cover letter as soon as possible!
Arbetsuppgifter
As a Strategic Category Manager Sourcing you will:
• Develop global sourcing strategies, monitor the market and industry trends
• Perform supplier evaluations to ensure that suppliers fulfil quality and environmental standards
• Lead cross-functional Category teams with the responsibility to drive cost reduction, make/buy analysis, innovation work, quality and delivery performance
• Initiate and determine contractual documents with high complexity and value
• Apply effective negotiation techniques to establish agreements that support identified strategies and enhance the global competitiveness of the company
• Participate in new product development and/or product care project teams to support the scope of the project
• Liaise with our manufacturing sites and the suppliers in the resolution of significant delivery-, quality-, or other business issues
• Ensure the adherence of the company's ethical, behavioural and quality principles and standards throughout the sourcing and supply processes
Utbildning/erfarenhet
Your Qualifications and personality:
• Academic business degree, minimum bachelor or relevant professional experience
• Experience within purchasing, supplier management and sourcing strategy and implementation
• Analytical and cost calculation skills
• Negotiation skills
• Strong in relationship building
To be successful in this position, you must have a strong commercial mindset and an international experience.
Travelling will be required for this role. You must be fully fluent in oral and written English.
