Currently we are looking for a Strategic Category Manager in the global non-medical area to secure the supply of non-medical devices with key suppliers through partnership relations and stake holder management. You will focus on cost optimisation involving working in value development projects, mainly in the areas of maintenance, marketing, IT and IT sourcing.
You will plan and implement direct purchasing activities in order to maximise the purchasing power of the company, reporting to the Global Procurement Director.

• Determine appropriate strategies for assigned areas based on procurement and divisional strategies
• Negotiate and decide optimal supply agreements
• Evaluate a supplier based on strategies and supplier performance for assigned areas and make decisions accordingly
• Ensure the adherence of the company's ethical, behavioural and quality principles and standards throughout the sourcing and supply processes
Utbildning/erfarenhet
Qualifications:
• Academic business degree, minimum bachelor
• Relevant international purchasing experience 5 years
• Sourcing strategy formulation and implementation
• Analytical and cost calculation skills
• Negotiation skills
• Supplier management
• Sourcing strategy formulation and implementation
• Commercial agreements and policies knowledge
To be successful in this position, you must have a strong commercial mind set, self-confidence and excellent knowledge in process development. You will also have to have an international background and cross culture experience.
Travelling will be required for this role. You must be fully fluent in oral and written English.
