Our ambition is that by year 2020 should our most important customers perceive us as the best European company in spare part distribution. Now we need to strengthen our ranks with a Strategic Buyer with experience in project management. This is a permanent position based at our European office in Mölnlycke or by agreement.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Your main task is to develop strategies and create long-term activities in the supply of materials.
In the role you will lead the implementation of our purchasing strategy in selected categories, which among others include contract negotiations, manage supplier relationships, sourcing activities and create the conditions necessary for aftermarket parts in a global environment.
You will work in close collaboration with other purchasing organizations within the company but also with the aftermarket's sales and marketing departments.
We also want you to have the ambition to belong to a management team, that you see this job as part of a journey and are comfortable to lead others.
Experience and Education
You have after your university degree worked a few years with strategic sourcing and project management in an international environment.
You are seen as someone with the ability to involve, influence and persuade stakeholders.
It is very important that you have proven ability to work both operationally and strategically, but above all, you are a person with skills to challenge existing solutions and finding new approaches in order to develop our entire aftermarket.
We want you to be multi language skilled, ??where Japanese is a plus.
Skills and Competencies
