hela Sverige Valueone is looking for a Strategic Buyer/ Purchasing Manager with experience from procurement of indirect material and services for a consultant assignment at a company in Stockholm. The assignment is expected to last until end of April with strong possibilities for extension.
The role
In the role as purchasing manager you will be responsible for procurement of indirect material and services in the consumer solutions area. The assignment involves responsibility for carrying out supplier pre-selection, tendering, contracting and relationship management duties according to agreed processes. You will cooperate with different stakeholders in order to develop the processes and cost effectiveness in your category on both strategic and operational level.
Main tasks:
Managing and leading complex sourcing projects and negotiationsSupporting corporate wide global procurement initiativesWorking as main contact person towards internal stakeholders and managing cross-functional category teamsDeveloping, implementing and managing sourcing strategiesSeeking new solutions, innovations and suppliers for indirect services and productsDrive Supplier Relationship Management for chosen suppliers including supplier performance
Experience and competence
The ideal candidate has a university degree on a Master 's level in a relevant area such as economics or engineering with at least five years of sourcing experience in an international environment. Proven project management skills is a must as well as fluency in English, written and oral. Proficiency in MS Office tools and SAP Ariba is required.
We also value knowledge from the Customer Experience Management area including sales activities. In addition experience working with Source-to-pay systems is a great advantage as well as direct procurement areas such as customer products and services.
Your personal qualifications are important. To be successful you need to be a self-starter with the ability to work both independently and in a team. You have a great can-do attitude with a positive personality that is inspiring to others. As a person you are effective and driven by results, you never let your goal out of sight and conduct your work in an analytical and accurate way. Furthermore we value good social and communication skills.
