About the role
As project manager you will be responsible for running strategic sourcing projects aiming to reduce costs for purchased direct materials. You will lead cross-functional teams consisting of people from purchasing, product development, logistics, manufacturing and sales & marketing.
Your responsibilities will be:
• Ensuring a good understanding of the business needs of the purchasing teams
• Sourcing and developing contracts with the mainly competitive suppliers
• Defining strong strategies around the tendering procedures
Furthermore you will be responsible for managing the RFQ processes, develop negotiation strategies and implement legitimate evidence-based negotiations.
About you
You have an academic background and a degree within economics, technology or other equivalent fields. You have a solid background in purchasing with expertise in sourcing and negotiation. You have a very good experience of managing supplier relationships as well as other stakeholders and out have excellent communication skills.
Furthermore, you have a background in project management with at least a couple years of experience in leading cross-functional teams on a global level, where you also demonstrated strong leadership. You as a person understand the importance of documenting your work carefully and you have a structured approach.
With your previous experience, you are also a person who is not afraid to challenge the organization and with experience of working in the automotive industry before, you will quickly get into the role. You also have experience working with MS Project and using Excel as a tools. As you will be working in an international environment, you mastered the English language fluently in both speech and in writing.
Crucial for the position is:
• Experience of strategic purchasing
• That you in the role of project manager have experience leading cross-functional teams
• Ability to use the English language freely in speech and in writing

About the employment
The position as Project Manager in sourcing is as a consultant with start immediately. As a consultant, you get an employment in Adecco Sweden. The assignment will start in December and is expected to last until September 2017. For the right person, there may be an opportunity of renewal.
