We offer our customers services in three business areas; interim logistics and procurement consultants, recruitment of buyers and logisticians, as well as development of our customers' supply chain operations in terms of strategies, models, methods, processes, structure and competence.
On behalf of our customer we are looking for a strategic buyer with experience from procurement of mechanics and non-metallic assemblies and components for a 6 months assignment with strong possibilities for a permanent position at a company in Linköping.
The role
In the role as strategic buyer you will be a member of the procurement team responsible for mechanics and non-metallic assemblies and components. You will act as a strategic purchaser mainly within these categories.
Main tasks
Managing your own supplier baseSupporting the business areas projects and programs with commercial responsibility and to continuously evaluate the market competitiveness of the current supplier portfolioIssue RFQ 's, evaluate quotations, negotiate and place purchase orders Be responsible for negotiating, actively managing and further developing supplier agreementsEstablish and continuously develop strategies for your supplier baseDrive cross-functional teams focusing on effectiveness and cost savingsAssure that the purchasing strategy, purchasing policy and procedures are fulfilled
Experience and competence
Required kills for this assignment is a degree in Engineering or Economics together with experience from strategic purchasing. You have excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written, and good knowledge of MS Office. Desired skills are experience from procurement of mechanics and non-metallic assemblies and components, experience with IFS and defense industry.
To thrive in this role, you are a business oriented person with great communication skills. You are used to efficiently collaborating with team members as well as other stakeholders. You are structured and have an analytical mindset enabling you to adapt to circumstances.
