We are now looking for a Strategic Buyer Electrical!
Description
The Purchasing department is responsible for all commercial businesses regarding direct and indirect material and services. You will be part of the direct material organization which contains of about 14 persons located in Trollhättan and 12 persons located in our office in Tianjin, China.
The team is operating in a well-defined global purchasing process based on team work between Buyers, SQE 's & Cost Engineers.
The role of a Strategic Buyer involves:
- Responsible for Supplier selections within own area of responsibility
- Establish, negotiate and maintain purchase contracts
- Negotiate General Terms & conditions
- Resolve supplier payment issues, critical capacity issues
- Manage commercial supplier launch issues
- Manage tool moves process, incl. coordination cross-functional
- Monitor supplier performance
- Purchasing responsible in Change Management process
- Responsible for Key Performance Indicator (KPI) within own area of responsibility
We are looking for someone who has
- Technical, Economic or Legal University degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in advanced purchasing activities in industry
- Relevant experience in the automotive industry
- Senior experience to negotiating major business contracts
- Knowledge and experience of the Chinese supplier base is a valuable advantage
- Driver license B
- Fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.

- Be easy to work with for both internal and external "partners"
- Work to establish mutually profitable business relationships (win-win)
