hela Sverige As a Strategic buyer you belong to the SCM team at System Integration and Substation Services in Sweden. The SCM team is responsible for both operative, as well as strategic delivery - a world class purchasing service for our customers - both for tenders and in project execution. You will lead the work to create category strategies including monitoring and developing existing suppliers to ensure optimal results, including sourcing and negotiating with the main suppliers in the category.
Other important responsibilities within this role, is to maintain a primary interface with the tender and project teams and to support the planning and execution procurement activities for the projects. You will also secure that the products or services that you procure, will have the right quality and are delivered on time, at optimal total cost level, to our project business. Close interaction with the SCM team as well as other stakeholders from entire organization, such as marketing and sales, engineering and management, is vital for the role to secure continuous improvements within the categories.
The position is based in Västerås, Sweden, and reports to the Head of SCM department.
As a Strategic buyer, you are genuinely interested in technical components and systems. You hold as a minimum a Bachelor degree in Engineering or Business administration, and have experience within SCM. It is an advantage if you have experience from turnkey project sourcing and/or site service/installation contractors. Communication, networking and negotiation will be key skills, beside your strong analytical and problem solving skills. Furthermore, you must be proficient in English and Swedish, written and spoken alike.
