About the Assignment
This assignment is a great fit for someone who wants to take a key role in strategic purchasing and contribute to long-term sourcing, supplier collaboration, and cost reduction in a business-critical environment.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to strengthen purchasing performance, secure service levels, and support continuous improvement across the supply base.
Job DescriptionDrive strategic sourcing initiatives and cost reduction activities.
Develop and implement segment strategies within the assigned area of responsibility.
Lead strategic purchasing activities within the commodity area.
Establish supplier relationship management processes and drive continuous improvement programs.
Negotiate contracts and coordinate supplier integration plans with internal stakeholders.
Monitor market dynamics that affect material or service availability and pricing.
Partner with internal stakeholders to identify sourcing needs, analyze market conditions, and define service levels.
RequirementsExperience in strategic sourcing and cost reduction work.
Ability to develop and implement sourcing or segment strategies.
Experience in supplier relationship management and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong skills in contract negotiation and stakeholder collaboration.
Ability to analyze market trends affecting pricing and availability.
Fluent English.
