As a Strategic Buyer, you will have an important role in leading cross-regional sourcing projects to define and implement Stena Line's sourcing strategy. You will work closely with our internal stakeholders, such as Fleet Operations, to execute new sourcing activities, and implement contracts, agreements, and new processes. You will also take part in a smaller operative role where you will manage the procurement of products for a limited number (3-4) of our ships.
Some of your key responsibilities:
• Analyzing current conditions and spending data in categories to identify activities for improvement of the Total Cost of Ownership
• Identifying, proposing, developing, and leading sourcing activities and projects to meet business requirements
• Performing market analysis, and defining appropriate sourcing strategy
• Screening, shortlist, and selecting potential suppliers
• Initiating and conducting supplier evaluations and supplier audits
• Developing negotiation strategy, negotiating, and signing agreements

Qualifications:
• Technical or Economical university degree
• Extensive experience in leading strategic sourcing activities/ projects
• Great negotiation skills
• Communication skills, written and spoken, in both English and Swedish
