In this role, you will take ownership to:
* Work strategically with stakeholders to procure the best core system platform for the future, and by innovative integration architecture find ways to increase value for Volvo Cars - including cost, quality, and sustainability.
• Work proactively with stakeholders to understand your product/service, its market, supply base and potential innovation to find ways to increase value for Volvo Cars - including cost, quality, and sustainability.
• Keep improving the overall performance and competitiveness in your value chain, both strategically as well as on execution.
• Be a change-maker and work to understand the world around you and educate your peers on new facts and maximize the opportunity that disruption brings for Volvo Cars.
Role model change leadership and be prepared to act and adjust the way forward continuously.
* Dare to question status quo or decided routes with stakeholders, suppliers, people; and work proactively to build better understanding and work towards common solutions.
• Secure sustainable business over time.
You will work in a cross functional team across the company to develop a close and collaborative relationship with your suppliers and stakeholders. Very strong business acumen is a given, as well as an ability to shift between short-term focus and long-term ambitions. You are a natural influencer and have strong commitment to deliver results in ambiguous contexts.
On a personal level:
You should be efficient at managing competing priorities, changing deadlines and delivering tasks independently. You are a resilient self-starter who is at ease operating in an international environment. You should possess excellent networking skills and be a natural collaborator, with the ability to work effectively across functional and geographical boundaries - as well as the confidence to engage with senior management. You also have strong personal drive and understanding how to drive improved business performance.
Do you fit the profile?
You have a commercial or technical university degree, or equivalent work experience.
Experience from electric architecture HW & SW design or equivalent and we would like you to have experience in procurement.
