Strategic Business Developer
If you like to work with exciting business development issues, in close cooperation with Executive management in a global and public company, this might be your next job.
Purpose of position
You will be a vital and contributing part of the Group function Strategic Development & Group Projects, which has the responsibility to drive and develop:
• Business intelligence
• Strategic planning
• Group-wide initiatives
You will also be involved in M&A-related matters. You will be part of a team of three people, whose work is carried out in close cooperation with Trelleborg's Business Areas and Executive Management.
Acting as an internal resource together with the rest of the team, you will be continuously involved in generating analytical decision-making material to Executive Management as well as to Trelleborg?s Board meetings.
You will be an integral part of generating the Group?s Strategic Plan and ensuring that priorities are turned into concrete actions. You will actively drive the business intelligence related to the Group?s business environment. Proactively, you will also scan the M&A market for acquisition/divestiture opportunities within the frame of the Group?s Strategic Plan and take part in the process of realizing these opportunities. The position involves extensive contacts with external and internal parties.
Some travel (25-30 days/year) worldwide is required. You report to Vice President Strategic Development & Group Projects. The position is located at the Group Head Office in Trelleborg, Sweden.
Candidate profile
We believe, you have worked at least five years with Strategy and Business Development tasks within a Management Consulting firm or a large Industrial Group. Experiences of M&A's are a merit and you have strong project management skills. You have a relevant Masters Degree or MBA, probably with an elaboration in Finance. You need to be fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
We are looking for an experienced, analytical and communicative person. As an individual, you are flexible and you are used to work and take own initiatives in a changing environment. With a coach?s approach you support and develop your environment but act with courage and integrity when necessary. Multi-lingual skills and a good sense of humor are always welcome features.
