Damco in Nordic & Baltics is looking for a Strategic Account Sales with extensive experience within Ocean Export with a proven track record of landing sophisticated and large logistics clients. The position is located in Stockholm or Gothenburg, Sweden.
Job Description:
• Collaborate closely with overseas network to coordinate account activities
• Lead local effort and coordinate with overseas counterpart on tender
• Identify and develop relationships with key decision makers at all levels within an account
• Understand the customer's business (strategically, operationally, financially)
• Work across Damco to create tailored solutions that deliver value to customers
• Leverage company resources (solution experts, industry experts, operations, and executive support) to assist in developing account
• Participate in the organization of customer forums and related events
• Successfully hand-over and transition account to operations
Qualification:
• Must have at least 4 years experience in successfully selling preferably to large size clients
• Excellent communication skill, both spoken and written English
• Good track record of sales, business development or account development
• Good freight forwarding and supply chain industry knowledge and/or experience
• Solution selling concepts and methodologies are advantageous
