Main Duties and Responsibilities

As a Strategic Account Manager for Lung Cancer in Sweden, you will be part of the Swedish Lung Cancer Implementation Team and play an important role in the contribution to the brand/franchise strategic planning and operational execution. The Strategic Account Manager role is an expanded role, containing a mixture of sales, marketing and regional market access responsibilities, covering various multi-disciplinary team stakeholders, e.g. regional payer groups, health care professional groups, specialist organizations and patient organizations. You will be accountable for both regional and national accounts and drive business in collaboration with the Nordic- and National cross-functional team. The role is field based and require frequent travel.

* Accountable for managing individual accounts, both regional and national
* Responsible for pro-actively identifying regional business opportunities and recommending solutions to drive and develop business in collaboration with team members
* Accountable for regional market access and diagnostic activities with appropriate stakeholders e.g. budget holders, tumor responsible at hospitals, head of lab
* Responsible for development and adaptation of Nordic into Local promotional material
* Contributes to development of AstraZeneca pre- & post launch brand/franchise strategy in the Nordics by developing relevant understanding of key stakeholder needs & perceptions



Essential Requirements

* Academic degree or equivalent, commercial or healthcare background
* Proven leadership skills - to lead in change
* 3-4 years with relevant experience with solid sales results
* Being trusted, live the AZ values and adhere to Code and Policies
* Has a good understanding of the ethical code and compliance requirements
* Experience in specialty care, preferable oncology



Desirable Requirements

* Experience of market access and marketing work e.g. experience in localizing campaigns and other material as required, including management of local agencies.
* Proven ability to understand, assimilate and communicate scientific information and Health Economic Outcomes data
* Proven track record of engaging and developing lasting relationships with a broad base of key stakeholders in complex clinical environments, e.g., mid/senior level healthcare professionals.
* Proven track record of strategic thinking, judgment and persuasion / negotiation skills
* Proven track record of developing and successfully executing compelling account strategies
