Hamleys is one of the most recognised toys brand in the world and with the unique demonstration and event concept where the store is an experience in itself for both young and old, tall and small, boys and girls. The role is suitable for an experienced senior manager, who believes in creating strong teams and delivering both the right concept and the right numbers.
The Role
As store manager you will lead and inspire a dedicated team of event staff, demonstrators, sales staff and also be in direct responsible for your assistant store manager. Your overall success criteria's will be:
o Active floor management - as you will be on the floor 80% of your time
o Achievement of KPI's; ATV, UPT, Conversion rate, demonstration targets etc.
o Development of a vibrant store full of events and happenings every week
o Development of management team and staff
o Successful floor management
o Implementation of routines and standards
o Cooperation with buying and marketing team as well as third party interests
Your Competencies
The role is for a highly motivated and high energy level manager / leader with min. 5 years of successful store management background from stores with +25 million SEK turnover and +25 people in direct / in-direct reference. To be successful in this role you will need to posses the following skills at high level:
o Excellent training skills - you can build, develop and motivate your staff
o Structured and attentive to details
o Result orientated with a progressive attitude towards achieving your targets
o Entrepreneurial mind set towards the future development of Hamleys in Stockholm area
