Right now, we're looking for a skilled Storage System Engineer to Stockholm or Linköping.
Job description:
As a Storage System Engineer at CSC you will be part of our delivery organization focused on the storage area. The department currently consists of 5 employees and we are now looking to strenghten our team with a person based in Stockholm or Linköping.
Your job will be to:
You will work both with our daily delivery, primarily in the storage area, as well as participate in change man-agement in projects. You will primarily work with one of our major clients in the telecom industry, both onsite and remote from the CSC office.
In the role you will work closely with resources in India. You will also have contact with end customers and suppliers. The work is very flexible and there are opportunities to work remote. Some travel may be included in the role.
Your professional competencies:
In order to be successful you need to have at least a few years in a similar role with a focus on storage and we see it as an advantage if you have worked in larger company or as a consultant. If you also have experi-ence working with offshored resources in India we see it as a plus.
To be the right person in the role you have:
• Extensive experience in EMC Storage Solutions .
• Extensive experience in fiber switches for SAN infrastructure.
We see it as an advantage if you have experience in storage solutions from NetApp and Hitachi. It is also an advantage with knowledge of VMware virtualized Windows / Linux environments, and Solaris.
Written and spoken Swedish on a professional level is expected and you have good English skills. You must be a Swedish citizen and clear FMV RK2 classification.
Your personal competencies:
As a person you have good interpersonal skills and you are a good communicator. You have to be responsible, self-motivated and you have no problem to work independently. In the role you must be a stable and structured even under tight deadlines. You have a strong sense of quality and service and enjoy working proactively with constant improvements.
