hela Sverige Stora Enso Logistics is the shared logistics organisation of Stora Enso. We design, procure and manage transport, storage and distribution solutions for Stora Enso's products. We also handle overseas shipments, carry out a number of logistics operations, develop processes throughout the supply chain and efficiently manage the information flows involved.
Our staff of 135 logistics professionals procure services for almost ¬ 1 billion annually from some 700 contracted suppliers worldwide, e.g. road hauliers, rail- and shipping companies, port operators, terminals and IT-service providers. We work out of offices in Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Germany and Belgium.
Work tasks
Stora Enso Logistics is looking for a Team leader to the Global Ocean Service Centre in Gothenburg. The Global Ocean Centre was established in 2013 and is today handling 180,000 teus or 20 000 bookings per year for our Paper, Board and Pulp Mills. The task of this team is to administrate bookings, documentation and enquiries related to Global Ocean Container transports.
As Team Leader in the Global Ocean Service Centre team your tasks will include the following:
• Responsible for a team of 4-6 people
• Service to Mills and Customer Service Centres regarding ocean container transports
• Follow up and secure the operational performance of ocean carriers and other related suppliers in close cooperation with the Procurement team
• Follow up and secure deliveries from container stuffing partners
• Inform Stakeholders about traffic and operational changes
• Provide performance reporting and statistics
• Coordinate Sales Plans with Mills and Customer Service Centres
Who are you?
This position requires the following:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Global Ocean Container segment and/or Logistics education on University level
• Excellent leadership and cooperation skills
• Willingness to take initiative and accept responsibility
• Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills
• Positive attitude as well as ability to self-motivate
• Enjoy working in an international and changing environment
• Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Finnish and/or German is preferred
• Excellent knowledge and use of MS Excel, PowerPoint
• Willingness to travel
Location: Gothenburg
Position: Permanent employment, full time. The position holder will report to Manager Overseas Services and Sea Operations and belong to a team of twelve employees in the Global Ocean Service Centre.
