Stena Line Freight are now looking for a Business Controller to join the Freight team. This is a temporary position while our current controller is away om paternity leave.
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for Group Freight Financial Reporting
• Freight representative in report/system development forums
• Business follow up and analysis - KPI's
• Coordination and involvement in budgets, forecast and financial planning
• Coordinate and manage freight market intelligence
• Freight rebates review for all regions
• Support the Group Freight Management Team with various material and reports
• General ad-hoc analyses and presentations
Qualifications and Personal Profile
• Academic degree in Finance/Business administration or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of working experience, preferably from the transport industry
• Profound experience and knowledge in MS Excel and MS Powerpoint.
• Experience from BPA, J.D. Edwards and ClickView are preferred
You are a flexible and team oriented person with good communication skills. You have an analytic ability and understand and navigate in varying markets and business environments. You have excellent English skills both verbal and in writing, good knowledge of other European languages is an advantage.
The position and location
You will be located in Gothenburg but the position requires frequent travelling. Group Freight acts functionally in the network, which means that 50-70 days of travel a year are required.
This is a temporary position for approximately one year and will start as soon as possible.
