Summer Internship within Steering System
The Steering System team is part of the Chassi & Safety Electronics unit at CEVT which is responsible for the development of steering system, wheel suspension, brakes and safety electronics. Our Steering System team is responsible for the development of steering gear, steering column, ESCL, floor seal and heat shield. The Steering System is closely linked to attributes like vehicle dynamics, safety, NVH and ergonomics. We are also part in the realization of driver support functionality like semi-automated parking, lane keeping aid and lane departure warning.

As an intern in our team you will be part of the Research & Development organization and gain valuable insight to the development of the cars of tomorrow and our role in the development process. Your tasks during the internship includes executing test cases in test-rigs and vehicles, software testing and supporting in creating test cases for Steering, Brakes and ADAS functions. You will also be structuring documents and xls work of lists and results.

We are looking for:
- Engineering students within Mechatronics, Software or Electronics with a basic know-how of vehicle networks such as CAN Flex ray and Ethernet.
- Students with drivers licence B, since some testing might require you driving our test vehicles.
- An entrepreneurial mind-set, taking own initiatives, as we are a flat organization with a straight forward, open-minded culture.
- Team players, since we value knowledge sharing and getting great things done together.
- Solution oriented and with the ability to turn solutions into actions that you can implement in your team.
- Driven and positive personalities, with a genuine interest in the automotive industry.
- Your English is fluent and other languages are meritorious. Swedish is not mandatory.

To be eligible you need to have work permit in Sweden or EU.



The preferred length of this internship is six weeks, start and end dates are flexible.
