Scope of Role Chassis representative of Tata Technologies for the steering components development at a car manufacturer in Sweden. Area of Responsibility . Steering components according performance, cost, weight, quality and project milestone. . Manage the development and the tuning from component specification to product and process qualification. . Manage the steering: the internal (steering column/Steering wheel - EPS/Subframe - etc..) and external (Purchase/Quality/Supplier/Manufacturing/EE/Vehicle validation). . Adapt the Steering column to adapt the top hat to specific shock requirement. . Lead the tuning activity of the steering system.
Knowledge / Experience . Be familiar with development of mechanic components . Knowledge of steering system (design/component/technology/key parameters) . Development of steering column (Specification/supplier management/APQP/vehicle tuning/vehicle validation). . Ideally have work on OEM/Chassis supplier with good communication skills We support our clients through engineering services outsourcing, product development, IT services and product management solutions.
