We now recruit several statisticians to the Early Clinical Biometrics and Cardiovascular/Metabolic Diseases Statistics, aiming to bring some of the brightest talents to Mölndal. The positions
Early clinical Biometrics is expanding and we are now recruiting statisticians to several permanent positions. The successful candidates will work, together with other statisticians in Early Clinical Biometrics, on clinical projects in two of AstraZeneca?s core therapy areas: Respiratory/Inflammation/Autoimmunity and Cardiovascular/Metabolic Diseases.
The successful candidate for the Cardiovascular/Metabolic Diseases Statistics position will be part of one of the clinical statistics teams focused on late phase drug development.
The role
As a Statistician at AstraZeneca you are an indispensable member of our multidisciplinary teams and will play an active role in driving the strategy for development of medicines that make a real difference to patients across the world. You will provide statistical expertise to the design, planning, evaluation and documentation of clinical studies and programs. This will also include work of a more exploratory nature, e.g. modeling and simulation as well as other means to improve decision making.
Depending on your interest and experience, you might also be expected to contribute to more strategic planning, quantitative decision making, act as expert in our contact with external providers and collaborators, coach more junior staff and be involved in adapting and developing statistical methodology.
