The postholder will mainly be involved in preparing data and conducting statistical analysis for research projects on the clinical effects of electroconvulsive therapy for severe psychiatric disorders, using the Swedish national quality register for ECT and other national databases.

KvalifikationerQualifications and experience
Candidates should have graduated in an area with training in quantitative methods. Knowledge of research in health and disease is highly desirable. Experience of data handling and statistical analysis using statistical software such as R, SQL, SAS, Stata or SPSS is essential. This post will provide excellent experience of research in a dynamic research environment in Örebro University Hospital and Örebro University. By agreement, it may be possible for the postholder to undertake their own research, or education and training, if desired.
Form of employment
The appointment is full-time and permanent. The salary will depend on qualifications and experience.
The person appointed will be placed in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics which is part of the Clinical Research Centre at Örebro University Hospital. Medical research has a high priority in Region Örebro County. Our research is being developed in close partnership with Örebro University to improve health and healthcare.
