Applications are invited from statisticians or epidemiologists with good statistical skills to join Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Örebro University Hospital in Sweden.

The post holder will be involved in support and collaboration with researchers from a variety of medical and caring disciplines. Candidates should have graduated in an area with training in quantitative methods. Key aspects of the job include data handling, statistical analysis and advising researchers on biostatistical methods. Knowledge of research in health and disease is desirable. Experience of data handling and using statistical software, such as SPSS, Stata or SAS, is essential.

This post could provide excellent experience of biostatistics and epidemiology in a dynamic research environment. By agreement, it may be possible for the post holder to undertake their own research, or postgraduate education and training if desired.



The appointment is full-time and the duration is not fixed. The salary will depend on qualifications and experience.
