DESCRIPTION

Do you have a passion for cutting-edge startups and games companies? Are you a customer-obsessed, business savvy seller with strong technical aptitude and excitement for the cloud? Do you have the drive necessary to help establish Amazon Web Services Nordics as a key technology platform provider in the "Unicorn capital of Europe?"

As an AWS Startup Account Manager you will have the exciting opportunity to help promote the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology.
Your responsibility will be to increase the market penetration of AWS in the most influential high-growth Nordic startups and world-class gaming customers in the Nordics.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong business background and demonstrated technical aptitude that enables them to engage an account at the CXO level as well as with software developers, data scientists, and IT architects.
He/she should also be an entrepreneurial self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Promote and evangelize AWS services in the Nordics and Baltics.
• Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan, focused on high growth Start ups and Gaming customers
• Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
• Drive and facilitate customer AWS adoption.
• Work cross-functionally across the Amazon companies to bring value to customers
• Maintain a robust projects and opportunity pipeline.
• Work with partners to extend reach and promote adoption.
• Contribute to a positive customer experience.
Expect moderate travel.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Account management or business development experience in IT · Direct field experience in working with the gaming industry and/or start up customers in the Nordics.
• Strong technical aptitude.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
• Fluent in English, and ideally one other Nordic language.

This role is based in Stockholm PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS · BA/BS degree preferred
• A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus.
• Knowledge of common funding mechanisms and communities for startups.
• Experience working with Nordic Venture Capital, Private Equity, and Incubator/Accelerator community.
