hela Sverige In early June 2025, we opened the doors to Borås Planning Studio - a planning store that we at IKEA call Plan & Order. The location is central and convenient, right in Pallas Galleria at Lilla Brogatan 8, Borås. Here, we are a small but wonderful team that sells and plans kitchens, bathrooms, and wardrobe solutions. But of course, we also help our customers with their dreams for the entire home. We know our entire range and assist our customers with whatever they need. We are IKEA's ambassadors in Borås!
We are currently looking for someone who is motivated to work as a sales co-worker at IKEA Plan & Order in Borås, focusing on bathroom and wardrobe solutions. But also as a sales co-worker at IKEA Bäckebol and in our other Plan & Order stores on Kungsgatan and in Frölunda, spending part of your working time there.
You are responsible for your own customers throughout the entire buying process. From dreaming to detailed planning, on to purchase, and finally decisions regarding assembly and installation. We know that selling wardrobes and bathrooms can seem complicated. Haven't done it before? Don't worry, if you have the willingness, we will teach you everything you need to know. Training is included. Great, right?

We will like you if you are good at building trust with customers, motivated by sales - and who truly loves selling. You are good at taking initiative, making decisions, and managing yourself in your tasks. It is essential that you are good at planning, are organized, and think several steps ahead, especially since you may be responsible for many customers at the same time. And you enjoy that no day is ever quite the same as the next. With your positive attitude and flexible nature, you can quickly adapt when the day doesn't go exactly as planned. Of course, it is also an advantage if you enjoy spending time in your own home and have an interest in color and design!

Good to know:
• The computer is your main work tool, so you need to be comfortable with it.
• Swedish and English, both spoken and written, are required. If you also speak other languages, we see it as a great advantage.

ABOUT THIS WORK AREA
• IKEA Plan & Order Borås is an independent unit of about 120 square meters inside Pallas Galleria on Lilla Brogatan 8, Borås, and is part of the IKEA Bäckebol, Gothenburg organization.
• Our opening hours at IKEA Plan & Order Borås will be the same as for the other stores and restaurants in Pallas Galleria. You will have scheduled work shifts on weekdays as well as every other weekend, both during the day and in the evenings. Unlike our department stores, this also means that you may be required to work on holidays such as Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, and Midsummer's Eve.
• Your work shifts will mainly be scheduled at Planera & Beställ in Borås, both on weekdays and every other weekend. You will also work at least 1 day a week as a salesperson at IKEA Bäckebol, with varying work hours between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, or in one of our other Planera & Beställ stores in the Gothenburg market (Kungsgatan/Frölunda). The number of workdays per week at IKEA Bäckebol/Planera & Beställ Gothenburg may vary both initially and in the future, depending on the needs of the business. But as a guideline, 1 day per week. We would like you to be comfortable with the flexibility of being part of IKEA Bäckebol Planera & Beställ.
• Training, both initial and ongoing training in the future, will be held at IKEA Bäckebol, but may also take place at IKEA Kållered and IKEA Uddevalla.
As a sales associate at Plan & Order in Borås, you will be responsible for opening and closing. Of course, we will ensure that you have the right conditions for this.

We offer fixed-term positions starting in early May or in June until August 30, 2026, with good chances for extension. The employment rate for these fixed-term positions is 32 hours per week. Salary according to the commercial collective agreement.
