What you'll do
AstraZeneca will provide you with an opportunity to work on drug projects and to gain insights by supporting late phase drug development in strategy, clinical trial design, data collection, analyses, data reporting and interpretation to maintain quality decision making and driving innovation in drug projects. As well as helping you broaden your pharmaceutical industry knowledge, we'll help you develop the 'soft' skills required to fulfil your career potential.
You will be part of a collaborative team and gain an invaluable blend of on-the-job experience and specific training. Enjoy guidance and advice from a huge support network, including a mentor and buddy. We'll also encourage you to identify and build collaborative relationships with specialists and leaders across our organisation. Together, we will help accelerate your development and knowledge.
Essential for the role
*
MSc (or equivalent) in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or Life Science
*
Passion for programming and curious about pharmaceutical development
*
Proactive problem solving and critical thinking skills
*
Planning, organisational and time management skills
*
Collaborative, with a partnership approach to achieving success.
*
Good level of written and spoken English.
*
Legal right to work in Sweden.
Desirable for the role
*
Programming knowledge of SAS or R
*
Database and/or clinical trial awareness
