Since we deliver the same Software to all radio standards, we focus a lot on software architecture, product quality, continuous delivery, and integration. You are encouraged to participate in all the phases of product development cycle - product definition, architecture, design, prioritization, planning, implementation and test. We are looking for people with passion in software development who really wants to make a difference and doesn't hesitate to seek whatever is needed to get things done.
You will have a very important role in securing the future success for Ericsson!
What you will do
Develop solutions for Ericsson Radio System Products towards 5G
Do SW development in different programming languages mainly in C.
Development of automated test cases and test suites, using Java
Maintenance of existing software, trouble report handling and support cases etc.
Participate in system studies
Contribute to continuous improvement of products and processes
Support in different situations like task forces, support questions and support to other parts of Ericsson.
You will bring
A M.Sc., B.Sc. or similar in the Computer, Electrical or Telecommunication Science, Engineering Physics or Embedded software
An interest in embedded software engineering is a plus
A passion for programming
An eagerness to learn new areas of technology
An interest in test and integration and test automation
Good communication skills and proficiency in English is required
The will to work in a team in an Agile organization
An interest in telecommunication
