Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of Amazon.com and a leader in Cloud Computing, is seeking a self-starter, driven, and talented business individual to join the AWS Startup team, to help drive the awareness and adoption of the AWS cloud across the startup vertical in Europe Middle East and Africa. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a fast growing business, and to bring significant value for startups building sophisticated, scalable applications. AWS startup business development team is seeking a strong program manager who is passionate about helping to grow a fast-paced business across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), a self-starter who enjoys shaping their own role and team. The ideal candidate is experienced in helping drive broad scale, programmatic efforts that impact global results. S/he will have demonstrated strong program management, marketing initiatives, and has a proven ability to learn new technologies quickly. In this program management role you will help to design and deliver innovative startup programs that support the AWS startup ecosystem in serving customers. We are seeking an individual with exceptional analytics skills to support tracking, managing and creating startup programs across EMEA implementing scalable mechanisms to deliver value to AWS startup customers internally and externally. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment as part of the EMEA startup business development team. Roles & Responsibilities: · Liaise with AWS startup team globally to align on global startup programs with the Business Development, architect and marketing teams · Manage and operate existing programs to help engage startups in EMEA · Help create scalable mechanisms and new programs to help scale AWS reach in to the startup ecosystem · Working closely with the startup marketing teams · Collaborating with the operation and analyst teams to track and capture the impact of the different programs
Basic Requirements: · Substantial experience in program management or product management · Experience with developing, implementing, managing and executing cross-functional growth go-to-market programs and sales motion. · Passion for startups and cloud technologies - understanding of public and hybrid cloud platforms as well as newer technologies such Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. · Operational excellence mind-set and experience. Data driven. Excellent problem-solving skills. Adept at simplifying complexity and developing scalable propositions. · Ability to multitask and manage portfolio of cross-functional programs and projects - work prioritization, planning, collaboration, and management · Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results. Ability to effectively lead and work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities. · Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills. · Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams. · Ability to travel as necessary to connect with global team and geo-based teams (20% travel) Preferred Requirements: · Bachelor of science / technical degree · Solid understanding of Cloud computing technology and a utility pricing model · Strong project/program management skills with the ability to streamline existing processes and develop programs from conception to launch
