As an AWS Start-Up Account Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibilities will include increasing adoption and awareness of AWS within start-up accounts.
The ideal candidate will posses both an Account Management and technical background that enables them to engage across a large set of accounts at both senior levels as well as with software developers and IT architects.

He/she should also be a self starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan by combining both account activities and broader scaling activities (leveraging the channel, marketing, etc.).

The ideal candidate will also have experience in marketing/community development, as this role will act as the face of AWS to the start-up marketplace in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, and the Baltic Republics.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute against a comprehensive territory plan.

• Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services

• Accelerate customer adoption

• Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption

• Develop long-term strategic relationships with key
accounts

• Ensure customer satisfaction

• Develop and execute marketing and awareness programs, events, etc.

• Expect moderate to extensive travel

Requirements:
• Extensive, relevant experience of technology related Account Management or business development experience focused on the Start-Up marketplace

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required

• Experience developing and managing comprehensive territory plans, including channel engagement, marketing, etc.

• Fluency (both written and spoken) in English is a requirement.

• This role is based in Stockholm

Preferred Qualifications:
• A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus

• Extensive customer network throughout Northern Europe is a plus.

• Additional language skills (specifically Swedish and/or Finnish) are a plus
