About the New arena/Center
This new initiative housed at the SSE House of Governance and Public Policy (GaPP) aims to create a platform to support the sustainable integration of third-country nationals in Sweden.

Together with key stakeholders in the migration and integration process, experiences and insights are researched and incorporated into a systemic perspective. The Arena project emphasizes the importance of collaboration at multiple levels and focuses not only on establishing employment but also on other dimensions of sustainable migration and integration. The Arena project research team will conduct research and disseminate science-based knowledge about how migration regulations, business models, and working conditions interact and effect integration and social sustainability. The Arena project is led by Associate Professor Lin Lerpold, together with Professors Laurence Romani, Karl Wennberg, and Örjan Sjöberg. Beyond the senior faculty, 5 postdocs will be recruited to complete the core team with 3 staff roles.

About the position
The stakeholder relations, event and communication role plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth coordination, communication and execution across diverse partners and organizations. The role's key tasks will be to organize and facilitate regular stakeholder events, maintain a stakeholder directory with roles, responsibilities, and contact info., track stakeholder engagement and follow up on action items. This position will work towards the new center/arena but will be placed in the unit External Relations.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
The position has three main areas of responsibility:

Stakeholder Relations:

- Map stakeholders and maintain the stakeholder database.
- Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies and plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key partners and collaborators.
- Track stakeholder feedback and organize stakeholder consultations and feedback sessions.

Event Management:

- Design and manage events and develop event concepts, agendas, and speaker lineups in collaboration with teams.
- Coordinate logistics and ensure events align with brand and communication goals.
- Manage event promotion and post-event follow-up (e.g., surveys, thank-you notes).
- Oversee event budgets and vendor contract

Communications:

- Develop and implement a communications strategy aligned with project goals.
- Create and manage content for newsletters, press releases, social media, and websites.
- Monitor media coverage and public sentiment and ensure brand consistency across all materials and platforms.
- Support internal communications to keep teams informed and aligned.

Your profile
You inhabit an ability to work across cultures and sectors with diplomacy and clarity. Given the nature of the role, you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as you will interact with various stakeholders across the organization. You should be organized, flexible, and efficient, ensuring tasks are completed with accuracy and attention to detail. You are proactive, solution-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications
- Professional experience in stakeholder engagement, communications, event management, or a related area.
- Academic education within Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, Business, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, including attention to detail and deadline management.
- Proficiency in Swedish and English

This position is a full-time position and will be on a special fixed-term contract for one year, with the possibility of extension
