About you
You are an experienced iOS engineer motivated by solving problems in complex systems together with engineering teams and getting involved in all of the stages of the development process.
You are inspired by delivering high-quality products and supporting others to maintain a high standard, understanding agile principles, and applying them to deliver value incrementally.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop within technical leadership and mentor more junior developers as a role model.
What you will do:
Provide technical leadership within the iOS mobile platform. Lead the iOS competency at Storytel and be closely connected to the product teams working on the iOS Storytel mobile app.
Contribute to the technical roadmap and strategy for mobile in general and iOS in particular.
Be an integral part of an engineering leadership at Storytel.
Be an expert on the iOS platform and a go-to person for solving problems within it.
Be a mentor and role model for other engineers and leaders in the organization.
Encourage sound engineering practices while driving our technical strategy and roadmaps.
Be an influencer and thought leader in the company-wide mobile engineering community.
Share your knowledge to help others grow by mentoring, coaching and being visible and present in the engineering organization
About the team
We work in small, cross-functional teams focused on delivering the most reliable and seamless audiobook and ebook experiences to millions of users. Developers collaborate closely with other developers, designers, researchers, product managers, and engineering managers to build an end-to-end solution. Teams take responsibility for the whole cycle of development, from ideation to implementation, testing, and shipping.
