We are looking for a Staff Mechanical Engineer to work with our expert Additive Engineering team of 17 employees across the world. Do you have a passion for developing our ÄKTA Systems? Then we would love to hear from you.
What you'll do
Act as a design owner for essential parts of the ÄKTA platform
Establish efficient ways of working for new development on the platform as well as for maintenance of launched products
Act as a project team leader for a global team. This will require travel to other Cytiva sites as well as suppliers.
Establish product documentation that works for multiple development sites as well as multiple manufacturing sites.
Who you are
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 10 years relevant work experience or more.
Knowledge and experience from project management and design transfer in multi-site projects.
Demonstrated ability to meet aggressive cost, performance, reliability and serviceability targets and scheduled commitments.
Expert knowledge in PDM system, CREO and product documentation
Knowledge and experience from system development of ÄKTA single use systems, pumps, valves and sensors
Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
Fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
