hela Sverige We are hiring a new Strategic Purchaser to SSAB in Oxelösund. You will be part of a Procurement organization with around 20 colleagues with the mission to delivering high value sourcing services to ensure that our supply chains are effective and sustainable. We offer work-life balance with possibility to work from home a few days per week.
Welcome to the strategic purchasing team that represents Oxelösund production site. The team consist of five colleagues and reporting directly to the manager for Procurement.
About the position
We work in a company and environment where changes are a part of our daily work. The ability to embrace this whilst not only showing flexibility, but also seeing it as an opportunity to identify and realize new improvement areas, is key for this role.
• Execute sourcing projects and handle supplier relationships.
• Negotiate new and existing contracts.
• Developing the role and work processes.
• Travelling is part of the job to visit suppliers from time to time
Your qualifications
You have a degree in technology, economics, logistics or law. Alternatively, you may have gained similar qualifications and/or experience in some other way.
Communication skills in both Swedish and English is necessary. We see it as a plus if you have experience from working with professional business negotiations or investment project management.
Your personality will be key in this role. We hope to find a creative, motivated and engaging colleague that dares to challenge current ways of working, suppliers and other stakeholders.
