In this new position you will focus on development of Process Automation, including production related IT-systems and models, at all of our major sites as part of SSAB 's overall Digitalization Strategy. The rise in computational power in combination with increased data connectivity opens up for new tools and opportunities that SSAB wants to incorporate into our Operations. You will work in matrix organization and have a wide network of professional colleagues both at our sites and in Group functions. Placement of the position is at one of our production sites Borlänge, Luleå, Raahe or Hämeenlinna.
About the position
You will be responsible to lead increased uniformity and compatibility of set-up models and IT-systems between SSE Sites as well as development of production data management and analytics. The aim is to have less complexity in our total system set-up, as well as a coordinated digitalization development of Process Automation supporting production stability and product quality consistency.
Key responsibilities:
• Strategic direction and development of SSE Process Automation
• Coordination of external collaboration
• Investment coordination related to Process Automation
• Standardization of Process models and systems
• Ensure equal level of Process Automation for main process areas
• Digitalization development within Production
• SSE Contact for Group Digitalization Development
• Best Practice exchange between sites related to Process Automation

Your qualifications
We expect you to have Master's or Bachelor's degree in a suitable Technological field or equivalent skills and competencies. You have several years experience in production related IT-systems as well as deep knowledge of process industy, preferbly the steel industry.
You have the ability to influence people and get things done also outside the own line organisation.
You have excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills. Good command of written and spoken Swedish or Finnish and English is required in this position.
