We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join us in this endeavor as the Physical Electricity Coordinator for SSAB's Swedish sites. This position can be based in Borlänge, Oxelösund, or Luleå.

About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with expertise in electricity management that surpasses our expectations when it comes to controlling and optimizing our electricity consumption profile and seeking solutions.
Your main tasks
Responsible for controlling and optimizing electricity consumption profiles and sourcing solutions.
Manage electricity consumption forecasts and optimize consumption profiles for all Swedish sites (Borlänge, Oxelösund, Luleå) in compliance with the physical electricity market.
Work closely with production organizations at respective sites for effective collaboration.
Develop and maintain necessary IT and electricity market data transfer systems.
Main target: Manage and control physical electricity profiles from a cost perspective.
Ensure SSAB's effective presence on balancing markets.
Report to the Nordic Raw Material and Energy Procurement organization.
Part of the Nordic Energy Management team, working cross-functionally with SSAB's production sites in Sweden and Finland.
About You
Your qualifications include experience in physical energy markets, especially electricity, and preferably financial instruments and hedging knowledge.
Balancing markets and demand controlling experience are advantageous.
Understanding electricity consumption forecasts in the industrial sector is a benefit.
As a team player with integrity, you work independently, combining strategic thinking with a pragmatic approach.
Strong analytical and financial management skills are vital.
You efficiently handle high-speed environments and diverse stakeholders.
Ready to travel within the work.
A degree in economics or technology is expected.
Proficiency in English, Swedish, Excel, and PowerPoint.
