hela Sverige General Manager has an overall P&L and operations responsibility of SSC Arendal Unit in Gothenburg, Sweden, producing Slit and cut Coils. Arendal Unit has approximately 140 employees with production volumes about 250.000 ktonnes and net sales about 200 million EUR per year. Role is placed in Arendal, Sweden.
About the position
Key responsibilities
• Operative management, profitability and safety responsibility of SSC Arendal Unit
• Operations responsibility of Arendal Unit
• Sales responsibility of SSC products
• Long term development of SSC business acc to corporate and division strategy
The position also includes development and management of EHQS processes and development of organization and competences. Unit manager is also responsible of planning and execution of investment projects in order to improve overall competitiveness of the unit.
In this role you will be a part of the Nordic management team and report directly to the Head of Nordic.

Your qualifications
• 5-10 years experience in manufacturing industry as well as knowledge of production and supply chain metrics & KPI's
• Knowledge and understanding of financial management
• Strong experience in business development in order to understand and develop business & customer processes
• Demonstrated expertise in leadership and management skills: ability to advice & lead others and make decisions
We expect you to have active, target and customer-oriented mindset with good communication, co-operation and negotiation skills.
You also have knowledge and understanding of financial management and basic experience in business development in order to understand and develop business & customer processes. Knowledge of EHSQ processes and systems is an advantage.
