The department of Accounting and internal control is responsible for consolidating and submitting the monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting for the division as well as maintaining good internal control. The focus in the team are the financial reporting and closing process of the Special Steels division. One of the main responsibilities for this vacant position is to contribute to the accounting and closing process of Alabama Inc and actively support our American organization for areas performed by them as well as actively drive harmonization between our two production sites.

About the job
• Participate in and contribute to the financial reporting and closing process
• Support and educate local controllers and accountants
• Develop workflow improvements and lead new improvement projects
• In this role you are located in Oxelösund or Stockholm, but expected to travel, especially to our site in Alabama, on more than one occasion during the financial year.
Who are you
We are searching for a candidate that has a university exam or similar in Finance, preferably accounting. You have minimum two years of experience within accounting preferably in an international business environment. You have good knowledge within internal control and have a good level in written and spoken Swedish and English. As a person, you are communicative and cooperative. You are analytical and used to work with deadlines.
