Your mission is to lead the work in the Commodity team. You will be responsible for creating, developing and implementing commodity strategies centrally and/or locally according to the strategic procurement process and its associated tools and models. Location is Lulå or Oxelösund in Sweden or Raahe in Finland.
About the position
You manage strategic commodity teamwork, establish, and manage relations with the commodity team's internal customers and other stakeholders. You will also take part in some of the operational work. Your scope is to lead procurement of refractories cross our sites in Sweden and Finland and co-operate with procurement in division Americas.
A success factor is your ability to establish and manage relations with the commodity team's internal customers and other stakeholders. You will work closely with functions within SSAB 's organization and external partners. Therefore, we expect you to act business oriented with excellent cooperation skills and with the ability to become the point of reference for others to follow by creating commitment and participation.
This position is permanent, as current Commodity Manager retires by the end of this year. You will be based at our production sites at either Luleå or Oxelösund in Sweden or Raahe in Finland. You will report to the category manager for Raw Materials within procurement.

Your qualifications
In addition to what 's stated above, you need to have a social intelligence when establishing and developing relationships with your stakeholders. You also have good theoretical and practical skills in change management. You handle stress well and work effectively under pressure. Having said that, we expect you to take lead within a complex environment that includes project management, contractual, negotiation and commercial skills.
You probably have a Masters or Bachelor degree in economics, technology or logistics. Alternatively, you have gained similar competences in relevant work experience. You have several years of experience working with sourcing and good commodity knowledge. You also need to be fluent in written and spoken English and Swedish or Finnish and you have good skills in MS Office.
