Position overview
Join our dynamic SRE team in Gothenburg as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, where you'll be at the forefront of building a resilient AWS cloud infrastructure for groundbreaking automotive technologies. This role is about technical excellence, innovation, and contributing to a collaborative environment that values diversity and continuous improvement. You'll be a key technical expert, driving infrastructure reliability, automation, and performance for our cutting-edge automotive solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, secure AWS cloud infrastructure using advanced tools like CloudWatch and AWS Config.
Lead technical automation and orchestration projects, utilizing AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, and Lambda to enhance system efficiency.
Develop and maintain robust, fault-tolerant cloud applications and services through deep technical expertise.
Proactively identify and address system scalability challenges, leveraging advanced AWS solutions.
Contribute to incident management processes, bringing technical depth and problem-solving skills to complex challenges.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
Stay current with AWS technologies and emerging trends, proposing innovative technical solutions.
Support team knowledge sharing and contribute to the technical growth of the engineering group.
Required qualifications
Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
Minimum 5 years of experience in site reliability engineering
Advanced skills in AWS services and infrastructure-as-code tools
Strong proficiency in scripting and automation technologies
Expert-level understanding of networking, security, and distributed systems within AWS environments
Proficiency in monitoring tools like CloudWatch and CloudTrail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse, cross-functional teams
Technical Expertise Required
Deep knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure
Advanced scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.)
Experience with infrastructure as code
Strong understanding of cloud security principles
Proven track record of implementing scalable system architectures
