ARRIS in Linköping develops world-class Digital Television set-top boxes. The site has teams to handle all aspects of product development, from inception to manufacture. In Sweden, Telia and ComHem provide their Television services with the products we develop.
Our software team covers functionality at all levels, from boot loaders and drivers that control the hardware all the way up to applications like YouTube, SVTPlay, and Netflix. Our software products include KreaTV, an advanced multimedia stack developed in house, as well as Android TV.
Currently we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer. Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations for the role include:
• Implementation and maintenance of software in C99/C11 and C++ 11/14 in a Linux environment.
• High experience in low level debugging
• Integration of third-party components.
• Optimization of Linux configuration and drivers.
• Writing production test system software used in factory environments.
You will be required to write clean and maintainable code, and to collaborate with other software teams, locally and abroad.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree, Master of Science within Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and related specialties
• Experience in C, C++, C#, object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Good written and spoken English

• Experience developing software on Linux and Windows
• Programming for embedded systems
• WiFi and BlueTooth
• Web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, DOM
• Database technologies like MS SQL, Postgres
• Code review
• JavaScript, Git
