For our office in Bohus, Sweden, we are looking for a Senior Process Engineer who can fulfill the requirements outlined below.

Responsibilities
The main tasks and responsibilities are to:
Participate in projects and/or lead subprojects within own discipline
Define scope, based on customer demands, and lead decision taking within process design in projects
Perform process design in projects including:
• Process calculations, sizing of equipment, piping and instrumentation
• Create and establish P&ID (Piping & Instrument Diagram) and Material& Energy balances
• Preparation of functional descriptions of instrumentation and process control
Be responsible for partly new process design (high risk) using new technology and RD&I data
Prepare a time table for the work
Perform cost estimation of equipment in studies and pre-projects
Perform technical evaluation of quotations and support sourcing on contract agreements
Document activities performed on processes and design work including documentation to customer
Participate/lead as Process Engineer at commissioning and start-up of plants
Carry out training of the customer's operations and maintenance staff
Participate as process responsible in safety analysis and other HSE activities
Perform technical service to customer / trouble shooting
Apply to all local HSE&S rules on site and AkzoNobel guidelines
Coach colleagues with less experience in order to form efficient teams and promote personal development

Requirements
M Sc Chemical Engineering or similar
Minimum 10 years of experience from process design engineering, start up and commissioning of plants
Experience from chemical plant projects, R&D or manufacturing
Excellent knowledge in process engineering and process design tools
Knowledge in risk assessment
Strong ability to cooperate, teamwork oriented
Result oriented
Very adaptable, fast response to change in cultural environment (business and/or geographical context)
Ability to travel 50-100 days/yr
Good knowledge in English (written and spoken)
