A Merchandise Operations Management (MOM) Principal Business Consultant provides client assistance by applying business process knowledge of the retail industry combined with functional expertise of the Oracle Retail MOM applications. These services include leadership in Conference Room Pilots (CRPs), leadership and facilitation of client workshops, definition of functional gaps between client requirements and Oracle Retail base product, functional product demonstration/business scenario walkthroughs, and documentation of CRP results.
Position Responsibilities:
• Leads specific topics of a CRP to review the base functionality of the Oracle Retail MOM products.
• Provides functional knowledge of Oracle Retail MOM applications to customers.
• Continuously develop depth and breadth of Oracle Retail MOM applications.
• Actively mentor other consultants on areas of expertise.
• Completes required weekly administrative tasks including, individual status report, time and expense entry.
Business Unit Responsibilities:
• Continuously increase functional product knowledge of Oracle Retail's Merchandise Operations Management Solutions.
• Continuously increase functional product knowledge of Oracle Retail's Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions.
• Continuously increase functional knowledge of the integration between MOM products.
• Lead internal practice development initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 7+ years experience with one or more of the following Oracle Retail modules is required: RMS, RWMS, Invoice Matching, SIM, RPM, ReSA.
• Experience with requirements definition and/or business process definition required.
• Previous consulting or participation in large-scale integration projects preferred.
• Experience working with a large systems integrator preferred.
• Strong verbal presentation and written communication skills.
• Strong client negotiation and demonstrated consulting skills.
• Flexible & easily adapts to change.
• Demonstrated time management skills.
• Ability to travel.
