The teams in the Global Finance Operations are responsible for reporting and analysing the actual as well as reporting, consolidating and analysing forecasts and business plans for all financial information including profit, cash flow, balance sheet, investments and cost control. You will be a key contributor to help develop and implement smart and nimble finance processes, create excellent reports and analysis to support the business in the best way. We are now looking for two driven and result-oriented persons to strengthen our global presence in terms of process ownership and improving our process efficiency and quality to new levels. For the right candidate the roles provide room for individual development and career opportunities within the Volvo Car Group finance community.
As Senior material cost accountant the main responsibilities for the position are, owner of the production material cost accounting processes within a specific area or plant, component sales accounting and process improvements interacting with the global finance organisation as well as the operational teams in the plants. The position will provide you a great opportunity to work with Volvo Car Group's core accounting processes from material procurement, inventory valuation to sales accounting.
As Senior global process lead the main responsibilities for the position are to actively manage the global accounts payable process, as well as our shared services. The position will offer various aspects of process and change management as well as accounting and reporting. The role will have a large number of international contacts throughout the globe.
Main responsibilities
• Advanced accounting and accounting advices
• Closing activities within complex areas
• Actively drive process development activities
• Deliver high quality service and advices within the area of responsibility
• Identify areas for improvement and implementation of ideas within area of responsibility
• Issuing instructions and guidelines and make sure that those are effectively implemented and followed
• Advanced analysis and reporting
• Keep track of legislation, trends, latest news and external benchmark to ensure that the process is "best in class"
• Global process management
Required qualifications
• University degree in Finance or equivalent
• 8 years of experience in Finance and accounting
• Very good knowledge of Swedish GAAP and IFRS
• Good knowledge of Finance processes and policies and full ability of applying these
• Experience in managing global processes and working effectively in a global team
• Advanced general understanding of systems and data relations
• Fluent in English, oral and written

• Ability to plan and prioritise with a flexible and positive mindset
• Excellent analytical skills, service minded and curious
• Strong leadership skills and ability to actively drive large projects
• Very good communication and cooperation skills
• High integrity and good holistic view
