This position is based in Uppsala, where Thermo Fisher develops, manufactures, and markets complete blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergy, asthma, and autoimmune diseases. With 1,900 employees worldwide working with these products, and 1,000 in Sweden, we are the global leader in in-vitro allergy testing and the European leader in autoimmunity diagnostics.
The job:
Join us in providing laboratories with leading diagnostic solutions to make the world healthier! As the Sr Manager Business Intelligence, you will develop solutions to provide meaningful insights to our marketing team, impacting our ImmunoDiagnostics business on a global scale.
You will be a valuable member of the team and continuously deliver insights and evolve business relevant analysis for Global Marketing, including establishment of dashboards for the day-to-day marketing initiatives as well as market development activities. As a Sr Manager you will report into Sr Director Marketing.
How will you make an impact?
Develop insights, which drive the overall strategy and performance for the Global Marketing team within IDD and to provide leaders across the organization, with intelligence on marketing effectiveness.
Collect data, build databases, conduct analysis, build models and developing metrics to support and measure effectiveness and business impact of our global processes and initiatives across the business.
Define, establish, follow up and evolve Global Marketing's efficiency, to allow us not only to work hard, but also work smarter.
Be part of defining and following up market development initiatives.
Influence how this newly established role develops and play a key part in driving our Global Marketing organization towards a more data driven organization.
Deliver concise and compelling data, to support recommendations on where and how marketing investments could lead to improved marketing and business performance.
Establish both lagging and leading monthly indicators, reporting, structured and ad-hoc analysis, customer insights and not least develop and drive implementation of dashboard to improve efficiency.
Lead end-to-end model development process from problem identification through to data gathering, analyses, gaining consensus and implementation in the daily business.
Develop customized reports combining marketing initiatives, sales and market tracker data assessing impact of marketing initiatives on balanced and profitable revenue growth in allergy and autoimmune IVD markets.
Manage business analytic processes and strategies such as, data integration, operational reporting, ad-hoc analysis, dashboards, and data mining exercises.
Identifies and evaluates growth initiatives and new market / businesses opportunities.
Evaluate marketing efficiency following implementation of marketing projects and sales activities.

How will you get there?
Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited Institution with a focus on Business, Economics, Finance, or other related areas.
Experience of a similar Business Intelligence or Business Analyst role, ideally having worked in an international scope and within the diagnostics (IVD) or healthcare markets, supporting marketing and commercial functions.
Advanced experience of key analytical tools including MS Excel (programme and build reports), database management (e.g. Cognos & Microsoft Power BI) and managing ETMS and CRM systems (e.g. Cegedim, Veeva, Salesforce.com)
You are someone who enjoys driving the basic analytical work and has the experience and business acumen to give clear, strategic guidance on the actions that should follow.
Analytical, data-driven, focused and a having a strong business acumen.
You are both a valued team member, but also has the organisational skills and motivation to drive your own work forwards.
Experience from working in a complex, international organisation and with strong communication skills.
Comfortable working cross-functionally in an international and virtual environment.
You think outside-of-the-box and are good at generating innovative ideas and solutions.
Proficient in English, both written and spoken, is a requirement. Swedish or any other European language, would also be preferred.
